About eRoam
The eRoam Story
eRoam as it is today started taking shape in 2019, but the story starts long before that. The co-founders Anthony Hill and Ross Gregory (Australian travel industry stalwarts) both started working in travel back in the 1980s. In the 1990s they started working together in the UK running tour companies, travel agents, accommodation and pubs (yes, pubs – where else would you expect to find two Australians in London?) In the 2000s they both got involved in technology running online travel agents, training centres and building tour operator databases, before reconnecting and starting their own adventure travel company.
Over the last two years we at eRoam have refined this vision and attracted many likeminded travel industry experts to join us on our mission. Today our team is made up of over 15 nationalities, our head office is in Melbourne, Australia and we have representation around the globe. The thing we all have in common is that we all love travel, we are always thinking about the next time we get to travel, and we can’t wait to show you eRoam.
“During our time owning and operating our own experiential tour operator, Ross and I both lived the frustrations of bringing together the many elements of a travel booking, only to have a single element require an entire itinerary rebuild, while dealing with multiple middlemen and late nights doing payments and other paperwork. eRoam was born out of this experience to help make our lives easier, and give us more time doing what we loved – creating great holidays for our clients.”
